How to Permitted root login over SSH in FreeBSD 10.3

Permitted root login  over SSH in FreeBSD 10.3 , you can use following steps:

Check the Access Sataus:

login as: root
Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
Password for root@localhost:
Access denied
Using keyboard-interactive authentication.
Password for root@localhost:

You open sshd_config  file  with ee editor and find the  #PermitRootLogin no  .

ee /etc/ssh/sshd_config

Now Replace   #PermitRootLogin no  to   PermitRootLogin yes

Now restart ‘sshd’ daemon and access the root over SSH

root@localhost:~ # service sshd restart
Performing sanity check on sshd configuration.
Stopping sshd.
Performing sanity check on sshd configuration.
Starting sshd.
root@localhost:~ #
